Well, here we go again and thanks for joining us for another week. On this episode we’re talking about what to do immediately after finishing your book. First of all, CONGRATULATIONS! Writing a book is a momentous task and you deserve a moment to bask in the glory of reaching this accomplishment. We’ll wait. Go ahead and bask. We know you want to… Okay, now that you’re done with that, now what?

There are different schools of thought on what you should do at this point. Should you take a break from your now-finished book for awhile? Should you immediately start the editing process? Should you start writing any sequels you might have planned? What the heck is a beta-reader and why should you consider using one or two (or more)? We’ll discuss the pros and cons of each of these decisions and how they could affect your work.

You’ve come this far, don’t get hung up now. Listen to see which course might work best for you. And if you’re planning on having a party to celebrate, remember to send us an invitation. We promise to behave…mostly.
