Hello again to all of our faithful followers and a big welcome to you newcomers as well! Our favorite time of year has rolled around once more and we here at Method and Muse couldn’t resist throwing in a little Halloween flavor to our episodes for the month of October.

This week, our offering is “Serial Killer” where we discuss writing a serialization or series of books versus crafting a stand-alone novel. There are many benefits to putting your big ideas to paper as a series. You get far more time to explore and develop those plots and characters. You get more time to acquire and build a fanbase. If you’re lucky enough to get picked up by a traditional publisher, it can be quite a bit more lucrative. But, as with all things, there can be pitfalls or hazards you’ll want to avoid, such as the dreaded “Second Book Syndrome”. If you want to know what that is, you’ll just have to join us and find out.

See how we hooked you into that?! We kinda know what we’re doing around here and that’s just plain scary!
